Patrol

The Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Office has a staff of 17 certified full-time road Deputies.  Duties include patrol, civil and criminal service of papers, answering calls, investigation of crimes, acting as Court Bailiffs, courtroom testimony, transportation of State and County prisoners and just about anything else one can imagine. Equipment issued to each Deputy include a patrol car, duty weapon (Glock 22), shotgun, rifle, Safariland SSIII holster and belt, OC spray, handcuffs and most other items needed for law enforcement functions. All patrol vehicles are Dodge Chargers.
